The Snowbound Santa Hat Kit includes everything you need to make your own handmade Santa hat using the adorable Snowbound Santa Hat pattern by Melissa Mortenson of Polka Dot Chair. Choose a classic Solid version or go full quilter with the Patchwork version.

Our kits feature a cheerful assortment of red and white fabrics, paired with fluffy white faux fur and a coordinating white pom pom for that wonderfully over-the-top Christmas finish.

And yes, we really mean everything you need. No hunting down faux fur or realizing halfway through the project that you forgot the lining.

Choose your style:

Solid: A classic Santa hat made with a solid-style fabric construction for a simple, traditional look.

Patchwork: A quilty twist on the classic Santa hat, pieced together from festive red and white fabrics. Because obviously your Santa hat can be a quilt too.

Finished Sizes

The pattern includes two adult sizes:

Medium: Approximately 15″ tall with a 25 1/2″ interior circumference.

Large: Approximately 16″ tall with a 26 1/2″ interior circumference. The pattern recommends the Large size for most adults. Kit will accommodate the large size.

The finished hat is fully lined and finished with a wide faux-fur brim and oversized pom pom.
